Cinnamon Snowflakes!!

Update from post below.........

Here they are! I need to get the soap color a little darker next time but for a first batch....not too bad. They are cinnamon and chocolate scented and they smell wonderful!

I found these cute little wooden snowflake ornaments and decided they would make beautiful Christmas guest soaps!

I bought them on the spot, along with a few other Christmas craft treasures I probably didn't need but will more than likely use to make something.

I made my mold (below) waiting, not so patiently, for it to set up. Once the mold was ready I made my Cinnamon glycerin soap mixture and poured it into my molds and presto.....cute little snowflake soaps!
Now I just have to find some mica powder to paint them with and then they will be ready for listing! Does anyone know of a good mica powder source?

  2. Thanks Nancy. I am hoping to get some mica and paint these. I hope they look like the originals when I am done. :)
