My son took me to the local Renaissance Festival. We had a lot of fun. The castle is not as large as I thought it would be inside....but then again we only got to tour part of it.
The people there were dressed all out and played their parts well. They walked and talked the period. Very nice.
The pirate was the most personable and friendly of them all.I saw a lot of interesting jewelry and items for sell. The people who sell there work really hard making their money! Setting up a tent in the woods (no matter the weather) and hawking their wares. I bought a few things and the kid and I had a great day!
